So here is a practise question from the exam ... this is part two, and is a ten mark question:
For one of the following sight passages, respond in proper paragraph form, and include the following:
· an insightful introductory sentence/thesis (including title and author)
- a series of points with supporting evidence and analysis touching on the following as relevant to your thesis:
- specific and larger context
- character(s) involved
- themes and character development
- literary devices
- thoughtful concluding statement
"If you want to know the truth, I don't know what I think about it. I'm sorry I told so
many people about it. About all I know is, I sort of miss everybody I told about. Even old
Stradlater and Ackley, for instance. I think I even miss that goddam Maurice. It's funny.
Don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody."
